The solar market is getting bigger and bigger. There are currently 3.7 million photovoltaic systems with an output of 82.2 gigawatts installed in Germany. Ground-mounted systems alone have a share of around 31 %*. The importance of this sector of the economy is also reflected in the popularity of solar energy trade fairs. One of the frontrunners is undoubtedly Solar Solutions in Amsterdam – the largest trade fair for solar energy in north-western Europe.
The last Solar Solutions ended on March 21. For three days, almost 200 exhibitors presented the latest trends, products, and services from the fields of photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, and solar power plants to visitors from Germany and abroad. On day one of the event, the organizer counted 5124 guests – a figure that clearly exceeds the data from the previous year.
Positive feedback from the trade fair team
Our subsidiary PohlCon Solar was also represented with a stand on the 24,000 m2 exhibition area, where it presented its mounting systems and substructures for photovoltaic and solar systems. "Solar Solutions was very well attended and our stand visitors were enthusiastic about the solutions we offer as a supplier. We were also able to welcome our customers from the Netherlands in person and talk to them about both current and new projects," reports Natalia Bach, Key Account Manager at PohlCon Solar.
