The location for constructing the replacement for Höllentalanger hut presented particular challenges both for design engineers and construction companies. The project, which cost around 4.5 million euros, firstly required a method of construction that was avalanche-safe. Secondly, it was extremely difficult to access the construction site because it was not linked to a road. Transporter helicopters therefore flew heavy materials to the building site.

CE-marked double-wall transport anchors from the building technology specialist H-BAU Technik in southern Baden were used to transport the element walls that were pre-produced in the precast parts factory both safely and economically.
