The Öresund bridge between Denmark and Sweden is one of the largest technical structures in Europe. This bridge has made it possible, for the first time, to travel from the European mainland to Scandinavia, or vice versa, by land. The building project included a 3750-m-long tunnel, an artificial island, enabling the transition from the tunnel to the bridge, a cable-stayed bridge, as well as train stations in Denmark and Sweden.  The Öresund Bridge, with a total length of 7845 m, spans the Öresund and is the longest combined road and railway bridge in the world.

H-BAU Technik supplied Schall-ISOBOX® elements for the project.
