The Science Park is an expansion of the Johannes Kepler University to the east of Altenberger Straße in Linz. The building complex was constructed in three stages. Completion of the first stage was marked by the official opening of the new mechatronics building in the autumn of 2009. This is connected to the main university building via an underpass. The second stage of construction cost € 26 million and was completed in the summer of 2011. The Computer Science and Business Information departments moved into their new premises, built in construction stage three, in the autumn of 2012. The 8000 square metre building cost approximately € 28 million.

This construction project used single and double-row FERBOX® reinforcement attachments, shear dowels complete with slide sleeves and a variety of shuttering accessories
